Responsibilities
Provide engineering design concepts in support of manufacturing process and tooling.
Develop CAD Model concepts, 3D modeling, and detailed 2D drawings.
Direct or support design, fabrication, modifications, and repair of special tools for manufacturing operations.
Provide technical support to product engineering for productivity through manufacturing, test, and field use.
Assist in tool acceptance criteria for in-house fabrication or outside procurement.

Required
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in mechanical design or related disciplines
At least six (6) years' experience in mechanical design or related field
Knowledge of creating models and DWG's on CREO 5
Experience with routing DWG's on Wind Chill
Complete knowledge of GD&T for all DWG requirements
Knowledge of machining and fabrication
Experience with running Structural Analysis with ANSYS
Experience designing tools for energetics
Preferred
CREO CAD modeling and drafting experience
Previous machine shop experience
Experience with solid rocket motors or other energetics
