Responsibilities

Create and develop design concepts using AutoCAD, and transform them into workable and functional products.

Prepare and produce comprehensive electrical schematic designs and circuit diagrams.

Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the quality of the designs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, and design systems and products that meet those needs.

Develop and implement design strategies and plans according to project specifications.

Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.

Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications, and safety standards.

Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends to ensure designs are innovative and competitive.
