Responsibilities

Use measurements taken from operations to design a distribution transformer that meets specifications.

Prepare documentation such as bill of materials for various departments.

Quote special materials for transformer production as needed.

Follow-up on manufacturing, customer service, and testing processes.

Plan, conduct, coordinate, and make recommendations using advanced engineering concepts.

Evaluate requests for changes to production files and revise if necessary.

Responsible for managing surplus or obsolete material inventory.

Resume required for consideration.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience in design or research, including transformer manufacture support and customer service skills.

Design experience with electrical systems

Design experience with industrial power products.

Experience in the following tools is required: Microsoft Office (Excel, word, power point, etc.), Auto-CAD.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos as well as write.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Ability to read and use a tape measure.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
