Responsibilities

Assist in generating product designs in accordance with TA / Industry specifications and customer performance criteria
Generate drawings/schematics of innovative new product ideas and applications
Develop assembly and detail drawings and review completed drawings for accuracy and adherence to specification requirements
Ensure design and prototype lead times are well defined and schedules are adhered to by working toward milestones
Work closely with Business Unit Team to support the design and development of new products, including the fabrication of prototypes
Provide design and drafting support to other Engineers
Maintain technical accuracy and quality of work for all assignments; i.e. analytical support, evaluate/provide design alternatives and tolerance studies
Provide technical assistance to Sales/Marketing as required
Provide technical support to suppliers as required

Required

Currently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
Basic CAD, CATIA, and/or 3D solid modeling skills
Strong people skills and ability to work well autonomously, or with team members to achieve a common goal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project skills
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
