Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design and engineering team responsible for data center construction projects
Develop and implement design standards, specifications, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all projects
Oversee the preparation of detailed design documents, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, construction teams, and operations staff, to ensure seamless project execution
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
Provide technical guidance and support to the design and engineering team, addressing any design-related challenges or issues
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the design and engineering team
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data center design and construction technologies

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center design and construction management
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale data center construction projects
Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network cabling
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements
Preferred
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, LEED, or similar) are a plus
