Responsibilities

Elevate UX and UI design, by spearheading the development and implementation of a comprehensive design system that seamlessly translates across web, iOS, and Android platforms.

Ensure all designs maintain a balance between honoring tattoo traditions and leveraging cutting-edge technology.

Drive User-Centered Design Processes, by implementing and leading design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions.

Design and execute user research strategies to inform product decisions and validate design concepts.

Implement and analyze user feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the product design.

Guide and collaborate cross-functionally, by collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing team to create compelling visual narratives and value propositions for different artist and client segments.

Identify opportunities for design innovation that set Co:Create apart from competitors in the tattoo marketplace.

Required

5+ years of designing with Figma across multiple platforms such as mobile, web, iOS, Android, etc.

Expert-level skills in visual design, layout, color theory, typography, and iconography.

Strong ability in all aspects of UX, including research, information architecture, and usability testing.

Proficient in problem definition, solution ideation, and feature prioritization; expertise in design systems.

Skilled in empathy mapping, journey mapping, and workshop facilitation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

Ability to demonstrate how you've maintained design quality and accessibility across screen sizes, while shipping iteratively to deliver customer value early and often.

Preferred

Universal app experience: You've designed excellent apps that function across web, Android and iOS with a single codebase.

Marketplace or start-up experience: You’ve worked at companies that have similar qualities to Co:Create.

Remote: You have had success in a remote organization.
