Responsibilities

Develop seasonal concepts and sketch new designs for Men’s Outerwear and Woven Shirts.

Understand current trends and consumer preferences to translate them into future designs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Merchandising, PD, and Sourcing to ensure effective partnerships.

Assist in sketching, tech pack creation, and trend forecasting.

Create tech packs and communicate vision behind fit and product design with Production and Tech Design teams.

Manage development from fabric to trim to wash, including entering data into tech packs.

Input BOMs into PLM and maintain updates.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, or a combination of college education and industry related work experience may be used as a substitute

3+ yrs experience as a designer, responsible for all facets of design

In-depth understanding of textiles and product development; working knowledge of garment construction (especially outerwear), outerwear fabric construction, technical fabric attributes, woven fabric constructions, fabric finishing techniques, and processes

Working knowledge of men’s fit, silhouette, color, print and pattern and trims

Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Teams, Sharepoint and PLM
