Responsibilities
Develop & Maintain Data Visualizations: Create and optimize dashboards, charts, and reports using Qlik Sense, based on data from SQL Server (manipulated using SSIS jobs).
SQL Development & Querying: Perform ad hoc querying, write complex SQL queries, and manage data processing tasks.
Support Internal & Client-Facing Applications: Provide operational support for internal applications and external-facing systems that feed data to providers and clinics.
Data Exploration & Analysis: Collaborate with the team to “snoop” through the data warehouse, identify relevant data, and ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
Data Warehousing & ETL Support: Understand and support a complex data warehouse, assisting with the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data.
Collaborate & Learn: Work with a diverse, global team of offshore developers, QA personnel, business analysts, and onshore developers. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of learning.
Assist in Security & Rule Implementation: Help implement security rules and access controls to ensure data protection and compliance.
Future-Focused Analytics: Contribute to the team’s push toward predictive analytics and machine learning as future goals for the team and company.

Required
Strong experience with Qlik Sense for data visualization, including developing reports and dashboards using tables and charts.
Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and managing data flows.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools like SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to manipulate data.
Ability to 'snoop' through a complex data warehouse, figure out what data is needed, and navigate through ambiguities to get results.
Enthusiasm for development work, with a desire to contribute to building new tools and systems.
Mid-to-senior-level experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates who can demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends and insights. A passion for advancing to predictive analytics and machine learning is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (including offshore resources).
Preferred
Exposure to PowerBI is a plus, as the team is also exploring this tool alongside Qlik Sense.
Experience with Snowflake cloud data platform is a plus.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments is a nice-to-have.
Any experience with advanced analytics or machine learning is a bonus, as this will be a future focus of the team.
Experience in healthcare or healthcare-related fields is a plus but not required.
