Responsibilities

Develop and maintain performance models for storage systems, specifically focusing on NVMe protocol, using C/C++.
Collaborate with system architects to define functional and performance requirements for storage solutions.
Conduct performance analysis and trade-off studies to guide architectural decisions related to storage systems.
Support design and verification teams to ensure features and performance meet architectural requirements for storage solutions.
Conduct extensive data analysis and modeling to quantify performance metrics and identify bottlenecks in storage systems.
Test and validate the performance models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Correlate performance models with actual RTL simulation results to ensure consistency and identify discrepancies.

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in ASIC architecture and performance modeling, specifically for storage systems.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Strong understanding of computer architecture and hardware design, with a focus on storage systems.
Experience with performance analysis tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with NVMe protocol and other storage-related technologies.
Knowledge of performance optimization strategy for storage systems.
Familiarity with silicon development processes and methodologies.
