Responsibilities
Support annual fundraising campaigns and major events to reach campaign targets. Major campaigns include End of Year giving (November-December) and Voices of Change, a fundraising event in May for Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Smaller campaigns will be in March and July with specific donor audiences.
Coordinate internal and external collaborators, including program staff, organizational leadership, event consultants/staff, external consultants, and event partners.
Support in building and managing campaign budgets and timelines.
Facilitate sessions where multi-disciplinary teams create content and themes for campaigns as well as manage logistics for our fundraising event in May.
Cultivate campaign partnerships, including with sponsors and small business partners, taking detailed meeting notes, and interactions in excel and/or Every Action
Work with the Communications Team to develop and roll out campaign communications, including creating timeframes, budgeting and drafting content.
Lead prospecting, cultivating, soliciting, and appreciating donors and sponsors.
Maintain and ideally grow our base of supporters and deepen engagement.
Maintain donor management system and information/documentation on supporters; utilize data to inform outreach and engagement strategies.
Provide data and reports to support data driven decision making.
Communicate promptly with inquiries, requests, or outreach and provide timely acknowledgement letters to donors.
In consultation with the Development Team, ensure individual giving and sponsorship processes and sources align with organizational mission and values.
Work with staff and boards of directors to connect with and cultivate contacts, donors, sponsors, and other partners seeking to support the organizations.
Manage tracker for grant submissions through communication and requesting updates from programs.
Assist with admin tasks regarding saving grant letters and documenting other communications
Support programs and Development team with grant writing including organizational support for program specific grants with drafting and final review.
Partner with the Development Director on general operating grants in reviewing, timeframes, and drafting responses
Analyze and share information about giving and campaigns to the Development Team and full staff. Provide information and documentation on giving to the Finance Team.
In partnership with organizational leadership and the Development Team, create, track, and report on annual fundraising and campaign targets.
Be the main contact for in-kind donation requests and follow ups with donors and corporate giving.
Support the Development Intern. Includes leading collaboration on projects, touching base on timelines, and assisting with allocating responsibilities.
As needed, support overall Development Team initiatives, including supporting grant applications, reports, etc. or supporting partners organizations’ fundraising efforts.

Required
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with different audiences, including community members, staff, board, funders, donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
Strong project management and event management skills with the ability to set and track goals and adjust to changing circumstances.
Ability to be organized and prioritize across multiple concurrent initiatives and coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders.
Strong team player able to work effectively with colleagues across various teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage and analyze data.
Strong team leader able to supervise, support, and hold accountable team members.
Respect for and demonstrated experience working with Asians and Pacific Islanders, and understanding of issues affecting Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

Preferred
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, specifically EveryAction, Greater Giving or Voter Activation Network.
Understanding of and/or experience with community organizing, civic engagement, policy advocacy, and/or community development.
Prior experience in nonprofit fundraising (preferably 1+ years)
Knowledge of funding-related compliance requirements between 501c3 and 501c4 organizations
