Responsibilities
Guide the new product development towards meeting mechanical, electrical, safety, and radio requirements
Determine the applicability of international technical standards to Starlink terminals
Develop qualification test plans and oversee the third-party execution of product requirements testing
Coordinate across electrical, mechanical, and antenna disciplines to solve design challenges
Manage multiple concurrent projects and provide regular updates on schedule and deliverables to senior management
Work across all stakeholders to ensure feedback is incorporated into project schedules and statement of work
Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes
Lead prototype builds ensuring incremental milestones for the production development are met
Lead facilities development, floor layout, headcount requirements, and material flow definition
Evaluate return on investment for potential automation opportunities

Required
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or physics
1+ years of experience leading engineering projects (internship and extracurricular experience is applicable)
Preferred
1+ years of experience managing product technical requirements
1+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical product design
1+ years of experience with project management (technical scope, schedule, cost)
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role
Outstanding project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding startup atmosphere.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
