Responsibilities

Lead and manage process improvement efforts for functional departments such as Development Engineering, Transmission and Interconnection, and others as needed.

Develop tools to automate/streamline key engineering processes.

Collaborate with Functional Department Heads, Directors, and Subject Matter Experts to implement new tools and processes.

Monitor and maintain implemented tools and processes.

Support Technical Services KPIs and reporting efforts by updating monthly project summary reports.

Required

Bachelor's Degree or Higher

2+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer working with Utility-scale solar, storage, or related discipline required.

Understanding of project design and optimization tradeoffs and familiarity with the current market, equipment suppliers, contractors, typical technical specifications, and costs

Experience and understanding of PV + BESS project design.

Knowledge of engineering and renewable energy systems; solar PV systems including SCADA and monitoring systems, and BESS.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, SAM, GIS, SIFT and related design applications.

Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results-oriented, process-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

Advanced computer skills in MS Office, MS Windows, Share Point and project controls.

Interest in career growth in renewable energy development.

Detail-oriented with an intense sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work-product.
