Responsibilities
Lead the processing and recording of charitable contributions and related transactions.
Draft correspondence and acknowledgments, maintain donor records, and assist with asset transfer.
Track open pledges and reminders, plan logistics of meetings, and assist with planning special events for prospects and donors.
Update process documents and inform the team of Standard Operating Procedures and critical information.
Manage list generation, including mailing lists, donor recognition lists, and lists for tracking and forecasting.
Provide administrative functions such as sorting and distributing mail, answering phones, organizing files, and working with vendors.
Provide program information directly to prospects and donors, assist with producing chapter publications, prepare supporting materials, and assist with project management for funding proposals and stewardship reports.
Use fundraising management system to produce donor reports, perform analysis and research, and track prospects and donors.
Apply established processes and practices to improve effectiveness and provide necessary information to staff, donors, legal, and financial professionals.

Required
Bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination.
Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.
Experience organizing time, materials, and resources.
Preferred
Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
Ability research and analyze information for the purpose of preparing reports, coordinating efforts, and solving problems.
Ability to write and edit written materials for use with donor solicitations, member communications, and special events.
Experience, coursework, or other training in fundraising principles & practices.
Experience working with databases, including managing, and tracking data.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
