Responsibilities
Under the direction of fundraisers, manage proposal development processes, including coordinating among RMI teams, setting realistic timelines, managing workflows, securing approvals for materials, and ensuring high attention-to-detail of the complete proposal package against donor requirements.
Track upcoming funder reports, coordinate with program teams to develop narrative reports, coordinate with finance team on financial reports, and work with fundraisers to design and execute comprehensive stewardship plans.
Support fundraisers in key meetings with donors and external stakeholders, and manage follow up.
Maintain high-quality and up-to-date data in Salesforce and Sharepoint.
Liaison between the program team and RMI’s operational departments.
Serve as a resource for teams to ensure consistency, quality assurance, and completeness of grant and fee-for-service proposals to multilateral and bilateral partners.
Under the direction of the Director - Multilateral/Bilateral, track and own processes such as driving new institutional policies, data collection and management as needed to support RMI projects funded by multilateral and bilateral partners.
Assist in interpreting proposal requirements of major bilateral and multilateral aid agencies such as the World Bank or UN, and work together with the Development Officer and program teams to meet those requirements.
Assist with securing or managing RMI’s registrations with international organizations and networks.
Lead research into new bilateral or multilateral funds for international development and climate change, and evaluate against their potential to RMI programming.

Required
Bachelor's degree in International Development, International Relations, Energy, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in administration, operations, project management or related
Experience in fundraising and/or proposal development for multilateral and bilateral aid agencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office software skills
Proven organization skills and flexibility when it comes to balancing priorities
Attention to detail and exceptional accuracy
Preferred
Excellent writing and editing skills
Interest in philanthropy and international development
Background or experience in energy and/or climate change
Proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to anticipate need
Familiarity with major global institutions and their processes such as World Bank, UN, bilateral aid agencies, etc.
Interest in international development
Strong team and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
Experience working with senior staff in various organizations and governments
Experience with Salesforce
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrable problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively multitask
Good judgment and strong decision-making ability
