Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure for proof-of-stake validators, Bitcoin mining support, and custody solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response
Implement monitoring and observability tools to ensure the health, performance, and stability of blockchain infrastructure
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and recovery processes
Assist the Bitcoin mining team with setup and management of cloud components, VMWare, and virtualization technologies
Implement and maintain security best practices across all aspects of infrastructure, including access controls, encryption, and network security
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continued reliability and uptime of services
Continuously research and stay up-to-date with emerging trends in the web3/blockchain space

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SRE/DevOps, with a focus on web3/blockchain technologies
Experience administering Ethereum or Solana infrastructure
Deep understanding of proof-of-stake consensus mechanisms and experience managing validators
Familiarity with Bitcoin mining operations and supporting infrastructure
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMWare, KVM, Docker)
Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)
Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, access control, and network security
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
Preferred
Experience with digital asset custody solutions and security best practices
Familiarity with additional blockchains (Cosmos et al) and layer2 strategies (Eigen), and/or other web3/blockchain ecosystems
