Responsibilities

Gather technical requirements, assess client capabilities, and provide appropriate DevOps solutions, recommendations, and adoption strategies

Design, build, test, and deploy highly scalable and resilient cloud-based applications on private and public clouds

Develop deep expertise with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud

Take ownership of key architecture decisions

Design automated deployments using a DevOps approach

Required

7+ years of building, deploying and operating web apps

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, CDK, CloudFormation)

Experience with Source and Configuration Management tools

Experience with CI/CD pipeline orchestration (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, ECS)

Familiarity with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)

Experience collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project

Comfortable with backend and API development

Enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems

Ability to communicate with clients on a business level and translate their needs into a technical solution

Solution Architect and/or DevOps Level Certification in one of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
