Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Management:

Design and manage Azure services, including VMs, networks, and storage.

Develop and maintain ARM templates to manage infrastructure as code (IaC).

Optimize Azure resources for high availability, security, and scalability.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other similar tools.

Enhance automation across build, test, and deployment phases to boost efficiency.

Monitor and refine CI/CD processes to ensure optimal performance.

Containerization and Orchestration:

Implement Docker containers and manage Kubernetes orchestration through Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Ensure efficient deployment and scaling of containerized applications.

Security and Compliance:

Apply security best practices and compliance measures across Azure deployments.

Conduct regular audits and coordinate with the security team to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Utilize tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights for proactive monitoring.

Diagnose and address issues impacting application performance and infrastructure reliability.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Foster a collaborative environment with software development and operations teams.

Document and maintain records of infrastructure setups, configurations, and procedures.

Engage in knowledge transfer and mentorship within the team.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

At least 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure environments.

Extensive knowledge of Azure services including VMs, AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.

Skilled in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Understanding of IaC using tools like ARM templates and Terraform.

Strong grasp of security protocols, compliance frameworks, and monitoring solutions.
