Responsibilities

Supporting an existing Azure environment where DevOps has been slowly stood up in practice.

Focusing on a DevOps practice defined as the area between development and infrastructure navigating Infrastructure deployment, supporting applications and pipelines for deployments.

Working in GitHub, Azure DevOps, supporting SQL database infrastructure provisioning and deployments, Azure Managed Instances, and more.

Documenting and helping to untangle the current state and environment from previous projects.

Supporting Deployment Automation and IaC, Server Deployments, and Azure native tools like Function Apps, and Web Apps in Azure, Key Vault, and more.

Required

Strong experience in an Azure based DevOps environment: Experience working with Azure services such as Key Vaults, Functional Apps, Azure DevOps, Service Bus, Entra ID and more.

Strong experience in an IaC / deployment automation environment: This team is leveraging Terraform for IaC and automation.

A demonstrated history of working as a developer to support SDLC projects and an understanding of how software and infrastructure intersect.

Self-Starter: Need someone who is going to be a go getter, prioritize and execute their tasks and then work to understand where to go next and get started.

Strong Communication: needs to be able to partner with development and other technical teams, as well as PMO and in some cases business stakeholders.

Technical Aptitude: Experience with the technology and tools this team is leveraging today, as the environment continues to grow and change it is critical you are able to learn and pivot as needed.
