Responsibilities

Design, implement, evaluate, and improve CI/CD pipelines on the Azure DevOps platform.
Collaborate with development teams to understand their deployment requirements and provide guidance on best practices.
Help automate and streamline deployment processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Develop standards and best practices to monitor and manage the health and performance of Azure resources and services.
Production Support including troubleshooting and resolving deployment issues to ensure smooth application delivery.
Learn and work with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, etc.
Develop standards for maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates and Terraform.
Integrate security best practices into automated delivery pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth integration of development and operations.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain a knowledge base.
Design and integration of monitoring, alerting and observability in pipelines.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficient and proven experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated delivery pipelines.
3-5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer with a strong background in software development.
Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and concepts.
Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
Proficient with version control systems, especially Git.
Strong willingness to learn and a passion for technology and automation.
Strong understanding of SDLC best practices.
Strong understanding of Agile practices.

Preferred

Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer are a plus.
Experience implementing and administering DevOps applications.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
Proven ability to integrate monitors & alerts into pipelines including dashboarding and observability tools.
