Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Design and execute digital engagement strategies to expand Welcoming America’s presence across social media, websites, and email platforms.
Email Marketing: Lead email marketing efforts, including newsletters, drip campaigns, and announcements, while managing subscriber lists, audience segmentation, and language accessibility.
Social Media Management: Create engaging, visually appealing content (3–5 posts per platform per week) to drive interaction and amplify the mission.
Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on digital metrics to refine strategies and maximize online impact.
Asset Management: Organize digital assets (photos, videos, graphics) and ensure brand consistency.
Content Collaboration: Partner with the Content Manager to deliver impactful messages through the best channels for target audiences.
Lead Digital Engagement for Campaigns: Manage digital strategies for flagship initiatives like Welcoming Week, Welcoming Interactive, Immigrant Heritage Month, and World Refugee Day.
Partner Collaboration: Serve as a digital engagement liaison with national and global partners, providing alignment, guidance, and resources.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams—including Development, Programs, and Strategic Partnerships—to align digital strategies with organizational goals.
Performance Monitoring: Evaluate campaign metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and adjust strategies to enhance digital impact
Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on trends in digital engagement and project management to optimize strategies.

Required
Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
At least 3 years of experience in communications, emphasizing social media and digital engagement.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
Hands-on experience with social media management tools, website CMS, and email marketing platforms.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills to create compelling messages for diverse audiences.
A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to innovate and deliver impactful digital campaigns.
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
Preferred
Knowledge of immigrant inclusion is preferred but not required.
Nonprofit or government experience is a plus.
Candidates who have attributes such as proactive and organized, collaborative spirit, resourceful and inquisitive, growth-oriented, and flexible and adaptable are desired.
