Responsibilities
Write, edit, optimize, organize and schedule new and existing blog content
Write, edit and optimize event listings on events.gcu.edu
Write, edit and optimize website content updates
Project management
Utilize our content management system (CMS) to post content on gcu.edu
Act as the liaison between marketing and the colleges for all blog projects
Additional duties as assigned

Required
Demonstrated strong writing and editing skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to details
Strong communication skills
Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs
Must be able to work in a high-paced work environment and complete tasks timely and accurately
Interest in writing about academia, specifically GCU's colleges and degree programs
Must work in Phoenix, Arizona year-round
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor's program or master's program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a bachelor's-level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master's-level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the university.
Preferred
Experience with CMS and project management programs
Knowledge of SEO
Students pursuing an education in marketing, web development, SEO, writing or project management
