Responsibilities
Conduct product research to inform design decisions and strategies.
Synthesize data findings to create user-centered design solutions.
Design and deliver high-quality UX/UI products in line with brand standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and editorial, to align on design goals and solutions.
Present design concepts and proposals to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs, focusing on typography, color theory, and overall visual aesthetics.
Take projects from inception through to final delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Maintain a proactive approach, remaining self-sufficient while being open to guidance and feedback from leadership.

Required
Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with 3-4 years of hands-on design experience.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, particularly in digital media and web applications.
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while aligning with team objectives.
Preferred
Familiarity with Maze.
Proficiency in Jira for managing project tasks and collaborating effectively.
Experience in a news company environment.
