Responsibilities
Develops and maintain relationships with technology vendors.
Negotiates and maintains contracts with technology vendors.
Ensures that technology vendors meet the organization's needs.
Supports the administration of the vendor lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
Tracks and analyzes vendor performance.
Identifies and mitigates vendor risks.
Stays up-to-date on technology trends.
Provides input on technology purchasing decisions.
Works with other IT staff to implement and support technology solutions.
Reviews payment request for proper approval and circulate documents as necessary.
Examines the mathematical accuracy of payment request.
Allocates invoice amounts to departmental/intercompany and general ledger accounts.
Inputs transactions to the accounts payable system.
Investigates and responds to accounts payable inquiries.
Works in a shared services accounts payable department /procure to pay process, responsible for processing payables for multiple locations.
Makes timely payments for all expenses.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

Required
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in technology vendor management required
Proven track record of success in negotiating and managing contracts
Strong understanding of IT procurement processes
Advanced-level business acuity
In-depth knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods
Strong understanding of technology trends and vendor management best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be detail-oriented
Good customer service and overall understanding of accounting, exposure to management reporting systems
Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
High degree of professionalism
Ability to communicate with various levels of management
Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position
Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 10% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed
Spoken and written fluency in English
