Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end execution of the data strategy, from data pipelines and governance to data visualization and company KPIs, ensuring alignment with the broader company vision

Oversee the design, data standards, implementation, and management of scalable data architectures, pipelines, and analyses in order to drive business impact

Lead by example with an action-oriented mindset to drive results. Dive into key projects, implement initial versions and key analyses, and be comfortable in both strategic and tactical environments.

Partner with leaders in Product, Engineering and Customer Success to translate data insights into actionable strategies. Drive impactful decisions across cross-functional teams.

Establish Analytics as a discipline at Pano and start forming a team

Define and optimize customer-facing metrics of system performance in consultation with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering

Required

10+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field

4+ years of people management experience

Masters degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. data science, statistics, experimental science, computer science, mathematics)

Experience in analytics programming languages (e.g. Python or R) using tools like Jupyter

Experience with relational databases (e.g. Postgres, BigQuery) and SQL

Excellent communication skills and experience meeting with external customers to learn data needs and share analytics results
