Responsibilities

Develop and execute the strategy for business applications that supports the company's strategic objectives and operational needs

Ensure the integration and compatibility of various corporate systems, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other business applications

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify and help the company select the best tool(s) for addressing a given company challenge

Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring products meet internal and external customer needs and business goals

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application managers, analysts, and developers

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of application projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget

Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers to ensure the best solutions and support for the company

Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements

Drive innovation by fostering a creative and collaborative environment, encouraging new ideas and approaches

Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and reliability of business applications

Implement and maintain ongoing quality assurance processes to ensure systems continue to perform and to catch issues as they happen

Develop and manage the budget for business applications, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources

Ensure that all business applications comply with regulatory requirements and company policies regarding data security and privacy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in software/IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing business applications.

Strong understanding of enterprise business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS), cloud solutions, and software development methodologies.

Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Experience managing large-scale projects using project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred

A Master's degree or MBA.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or similar.
