Responsibilities
Develops and executes a comprehensive product strategy for Tandem’s digital engagement platforms aligned with the company's overall business goals with particular focus on end-user, HCP, channel partner, other stakeholder engagement and adoption incorporating user feedback, market trends and technological advancements.
Partners with engineering, IT, brand experience, customer care, product marketing, sales teams and channel partner teams to define robust product requirements, prioritize features, digital roadmap and ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinates with technical product management to ensure alignment between the digital engagement platform and Tandem’s therapy management products (including mobile applications and related cloud offerings).
Develops and maintains a clear product roadmap with a focus on driving user experience, market differentiation, reduced cost to serve and overall business value.
Drives the collection and analysis of product usage data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Works closely with support teams to address digital customer touchpoints that impact overall engagement and customer experience, ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Stays up to date with advancements in business technology, and medical device regulations that could impact business systems, leveraging this knowledge to effectively communicate impact to leadership and guide product strategy.
Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization, from executives to product managers and individual contributors.
Supports the short-term planning for the department including headcount, budgeting, training, and systems requirements.
Participates in the selection, development, performance appraisal, merit recommendation, and promotion of staff.
Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.

Required
Experience being a cross functional leader with strong knowledge of healthcare from healthcare provider, patient and manufacturers point of view.
Extensive knowledge of complex system architecture including CRM systems, eCommerce platforms, fulfillment systems, and ERP software.
Foundational knowledge in the following disciplines: user interface, digital product management, marketing, business opportunity assessments.
Experience leading strategy for a digital transformation project.
General understanding of the diabetes industry is a plus.
Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute integrated marketing plans across geographies and product lines and customer types.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage cross functional teams.
Strong product management experience including requirements development, road mapping, portfolio strategy, new product development, product launch and execution.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and platforms as well as Excel expertise to derive insights and drive data-based decision-making.
Adept at creating and communicating a clear vision and expectations among team members to effectively align resources to achieve functional area goals.
Advanced computer and computer software skills, to include Microsoft Office products.
Skilled at effectively communicating department or area issues and results within and across functional areas and conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or timelines. Able to gain cooperation of others.
Skilled at effectively leading a cooperative team effort and organizing resources to achieve team goals. Able to make and prioritize process and resource decisions based on overall team needs.
BS/BA degree business, health sciences, or related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
10 years related experience in marketing or software product management.
7 plus years of experience in a leadership role with visibility to senior management and experience in managing managers.
Proven experience in digital product management within the healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
