Responsibilities

Leading the charge on building innovative solutions leveraging Crowdstrike’s world famous sensor.

Capturing data from millions of sensors deployed in sensitive environments.

Enabling sophisticated security detections across a wide variety of workloads.

Driving and delivering on the technical strategy and roadmap.

Mentoring the team.

Hiring, retaining and growing world class engineers.

Working cross functionally with peers in the engineering organization as well as leaders in sales and product.

Engaging and collaborating with various teams to ensure product success.

Communicating effectively with engineering teams and cross functional teams across the globe.

Required

Experience leading highly skilled agent engineering teams

Demonstrated track record of building a strong core engineering team and engineering team management

Deep understanding of Linux and it’s internals

Proven ability to build security or real-time agent for Linux

Familiarity with eBPF technology

10+ years of software engineering experience in all phases of a software development lifecycle

Broad grounding in all aspects of distributed systems development: understanding of distributed systems concepts

Solid design and problem solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance

Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support and sales engineering

Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and code velocity

Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels from executive staff to engineers

Preferred

Understanding of Kubernetes and its role in cloud computing

Familiarity with cloud computing and deployment of software in the cloud

Solid grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with hybrid cloud environments

Machine learning and data science familiarity and hands on experience

Exposure to/experience with cybersecurity and intelligence
