Responsibilities

Strategically engage mid- and high-level foundations to meet ambitious annual goals.

Craft and deliver compelling communications, proposals, and budgets that resonate with foundation partners.

Collaborate with senior leaders to steward relationships, manage a national portfolio of foundation prospects, and exceed annual revenue targets.

Build a strong pipeline for future partnerships, working alongside BGCA programs and local Clubs to develop collaborative funding initiatives.

Required

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum 5 years, 10 years preferred in resource development with a strong track record in foundation or principal gift fundraising.

Success in developing, cultivating, and closing major gifts of $100,000+.

Understanding of foundation grant processes and regulations, with strong grant writing knowledge, capability to execute up to 15 grants per year start to finish.

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, with experience in complex service delivery and large-scale partnership development.

High energy, motivation, and a creative approach to problem-solving.

Willingness to travel 30% annually to include some weekends, to meet with foundations and other key stakeholders.
