Responsibilities

Oversee the adoption and optimization of TA technology and tools (e.g., iCIMS) to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance user experiences.
Lead the development of centralized training programs to improve recruiter productivity and drive consistent performance across global TA teams.
Build and refine scalable early career programs to attract top emerging talent worldwide.
Manage TA metrics, develop robust reporting frameworks, and use data-driven insights to improve forecasting and decision-making.
Design and execute an advanced TA capacity model, aligning global resources with hiring demands.
Proactively identify outdated or inefficient processes and introduce innovative, technology-enabled solutions to meet organizational goals.
Collaborate with leaders across HR, IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure TA operations align with broader business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
Lead the strategy for the global recruiting coordination team, ensuring seamless scheduling, communications, and support for candidates, interviewers, and recruiters.
Monitor industry trends to keep Avalara's TA practices on the cutting edge, ensuring tools, strategies, and programs remain competitive and effective.

Required

8+ years in Talent Acquisition, with at least 5 years managing global TA operations and leading diverse teams.
Expertise in data analytics, metrics, and forecasting to inform TA strategies.
Experience with TA technology, ATS implementation, and a passion for leveraging technology to streamline processes.
Proven experience implementing scalable programs, early career initiatives, and innovative solutions.
Adept at presenting insights to senior stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally.
Background in process improvement, capacity planning, and vendor management.
Deep interest in exploring emerging TA trends and tools to keep Avalara at the forefront of talent acquisition.
