Responsibilities
Define and drive the HEOR/RWE strategic vision aligned with the company’s overall business objectives to enhance product value and market positioning.
Identify opportunities to leverage HEOR/RWE for strategic advantage, including product evidence planning, differentiation and competitive positioning.
Lead the development of strategic plans and set clear, measurable objectives for the HEOR/RWE team.
Perform duties as directed by the Senior VP of Medical Affairs and Drug Safety.
Ensure the integration of HEOR/RWE insights into clinical development and lifecycle management plans to optimize product value.
Design and oversee the execution of studies, including real-world evidence (RWE) studies, economic models, and patient-reported outcomes (PRO) research, Phase 3/4 studies and other evidence generation project supporting the company products.
Oversee IIS and other studies collaborations.
Direct the analysis of complex health economics, patient-reported outcomes, and real-world data to support strategic decision-making.
Implement advanced analytical methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and value of products in real-world settings.
Foster strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare decision makers, policy groups, academic institutions, payer accounts, and regulatory agencies.
Addresses issues and needs from the field medical team to support strategic scientific exchange towards existing data gaps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Market Access to ensure HEOR/RWE activities are fully integrated with broader business strategies.
Act as the HEOR/RWE champion with the organization, facilitating knowledge sharing and alignment on evidence needs and applications.
Ability to attend all company sponsored meetings/trainings/events/conferences.
Provide expert HEOR/RWE input into regulatory submissions and interactions to support product approvals, label expansions, etc.
Ensure that all HEOR/RWE activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Lead the development of manuscripts, posters, and presentations for scientific conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
Develop communication strategies to maximize the impact and reach of HEOR/RWE insights both internally and externally.

Required
MS, MPH, MPharm, PharmD, MD or PhD in HEOR, Economics, Epidemiology, Statistics, Math, Public Health or other disciplines related to HEOR, RWE and Evidence Generation.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience supporting Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare consultancy, or related healthcare industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of the sector’s dynamics and challenges.
Extensive experience in leading and conducting Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies, with a proven track record of leveraging these studies to influence drug commercialization and market access strategies.
Strong project management and planning skills in RWE studies, HEOR initiatives (including AMCP Dossiers, budget impact models, systematic literature reviews, indirect treatment comparisons, etc.), and publications.
Experience in development of RWE study protocols and statistical analysis plans.
Experience analyzing US deidentified longitudinal healthcare databases including that of healthcare claims and electronic health records.
Experience presenting clinical and value evidence and concepts to a variety of audiences (medical, scientific, executives) in a credible and engaging manner.
Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical software and health economic modeling tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Solid understanding of the clinical landscape relevant to payers, patients, and clinicians.
Ability to build and execute short- and long-term strategies and tactics within a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
High level of strategic acumen in a competitive Therapeutic Area environment.
Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
Demonstrated experience in simultaneously managing multiple priorities.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong budget development and management skills.
The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment on a remote position.
Must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving.
Ability to travel to meetings / conferences (domestic and international) approximately 30% of the time.
