Responsibilities

Adhere to Arch Managed Infrastructure Services Priority Guidelines

Manage and actively participate in the resolution of service-related outages and security events

Adherence to and improve standard governance, operational guidelines, and production support SLA’s

Ownership of network related SOW for business acquisitions, disaster recovering exercises and audit and compliance artifacts and findings

Review, schedule, approve, and represent network related changes to the change board.

Manage and meet Initiative commitments

Collaborate with internal and external Service Delivery Managers, Domain Owners, and partners in the specification of and delivery of our product roadmap

Establish and maintain our partnerships with vendors and suppliers to maintain and mature our services portfolio and engineers; develop a budget, training plans, RASCI and RBAC models, adhere to EULAs, service and licensing changes, capacity and health forecasting, propose new and maximize our return of investment

Review and approve specifications, designs, and other technical documentation prepared by engineers and Enterprise Architects

Plan and direct the work of the network engineers, developing timely solutions to designated objectives

Develop and maintain an effective engineering team; mentor existing team members and effectively recruit and select new hires to efficiently deliver goals while building individual career development goals

Manage staff, in the UK, US and Philippines, to deliver quality services through training, performance management, and recognition

Prepare and maintain initiative and resource schedules; monitor progress of initiatives, confer with engineers, and review reports to see that work is progressing according to schedule, cost estimates. and guidelines

Required

12+ years of related experience

Experience managing global network engineering across a follow the sun model, inside a publicly traded company with Non-Public Information

Excellent interpersonal, motivational, collaboration, and customer service skills

Solution oriented approach

Strong verbal communication skills

Strong experience creating a Network Infrastructure roadmap and deployment plan

Strong experience with the development and application of highly specialized and theoretical best practice methods and techniques

Capable of adapting to a constantly changing environment

Experience with Agile methodologies

Required knowledge and skills typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Experience managing related services in OnPrem, Hybrid and Public Cloud environments (Azure and AWS)

Layer 1-3 Routing & Switching, Identity Services and Access Controls, Layer 7 Firewalling, Wireless, Systems of Audit and Monitoring

Preferred

Industry specific training and/or designations are a plus
