Responsibilities
Define and lead product marketing strategy including the practice area roadmap, priorities, tools, stakeholder collaboration process, and metrics
Develop and lead GTM research, development, planning, collaboration and campaign tracking
Define and scope lifecycle marketing including team roles, build-out, tools, and metrics
Manage a small team of product and lifecycle marketing experts
Drive alignment across product, marketing, and sales
Work in partnership with key marketing peers including agency marketing, content, and brand to drive successful campaign results
Define and measure impact through OKRs and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Responsible for monitoring trends and competitors in the marketplace against current and future product offerings
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive marketing excellence within and outside of the company

Required
Minimum 10 years of product and/or lifecycle marketing experience in commercial insurance
A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required
Product Marketing ninja with a thorough understanding of insurance distribution and the regulatory environment
Experience with wholesale and retail distribution channels
Self-starter who is a consummate team player and driven to succeed
Ability to drive for results, deal with ambiguity, solve problems, drive decisions, see trends/patterns within data sets, and identify root causes
Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, time management, strategic planning and analytical skills
Maintain a working knowledge of all underwriting, product, and program activities
Ability to develop, present, and execute effective business plans and budgets to meet stated goals
A team player with experience building strong relationships both internally and externally, and with a strong sense of self-initiative and desire to succeed
Ability to develop credibility in unfamiliar environments; including agency partners, affinity prospects, regulators, senior leaders, and cross-functional project teams
Negotiation skills to resolve differences while maintaining positive working relationships
Proven leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills in a highly matrixed environment
Proven ability to cultivate an active network of external relationships to meet business and strategic goals
Preferred
An out-of-the-box thinker who knows insurance is traditionally boring but is brave enough to challenge the norm to drive an effective campaign
