Responsibilities
Be a catalyst for innovation and growth within Analytics & Insights business line
Lead the development and implementation of the Portfolio roadmap.
Manage and grow a team of product management professionals
Assesses needs and opportunities for product through research and feasibility analysis. Manages, gathers, and analyzes competitive intelligence data for product lines.
Participates in product modification, support cost reduction, margin analysis, forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategies.
Ensures roadmap plans are aligned with portfolio vision, business objectives, market needs, and competitive environment
Contributes to overall PowerSchool product portfolio strategy development
Senior product expert positioned as a key resource with Clients, prospects and partners.
Work closely with the field sales team both pre-sale and post-sale, particularly as product expert and in designing solutions for K12 Customers
Lead the writing and curation of clear, detailed business requirements for product and project initiatives
Work effectively within and across operations and engineering teams to execute projects and roadmap items
Assist in creating go to market strategies
Stay abreast of changing industry regulations affecting product development.

Required
7+ years’ prior experience in a product owner, product manager, or senior business analyst role
5+ year’s in a managerial role
Excellent understanding of Agile Values and Scrum Methodology
Excellent ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Excellent ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
Excellent ability to work in a changing, dynamic environment
Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Excellent attention to accuracy and detail, while still results oriented
Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Experience with business analysis, documenting use cases or requirements gathering
Ability to mentor and coach fellow employees
Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science, or equivalent work experience
