Responsibilities
Generate top line revenue growth annually through new business, improving reoccurring, and expanding recurring revenue service offerings
Build relationships with across various market segments including established insurers, mutual insurers, insur-techs, law firms, TPAs, MGAs, corporates, private equity firms, etc. to drive revenue growth
Expand footprint into key markets outside of the US, including Bermuda and London
Identify new opportunities in claims auditing, forensic accounting, legal expense management, e-billing, data and mass tort allocation modeling, third party administration services, and back-office services (finance/accounting)
Develop go-to-market strategies for by developing a multi-pronged strategy, execution, and refining the strategy as needed
Partner with Alan Gray’s leadership team to explore new market segments and service offerings
Lead responses to RFPs by creating compelling and competitive proposals
Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to deliver client-focused solutions
Conduct high touch pointed in person engagement based on existing company relations and fostering new relationships
Lead low touch client outreach through use of digital outreach methods through intentional use of email, social media, and other digital forms of engagement
Strengthen existing relationships with key accounts
Conduct regular client meetings to identify needs and opportunities for service expansion
Garner an in-depth understanding of Alan Gray’s competitors with respects to SWOT analysis of services, pricing, customer segments
Communicate Alan Gray’s value of services and differentiation with clients
Partner with leadership team to strengthen and improve service offerings to remain competitive
Promote Alan Gray’s value proposition through thought leadership and industry events
Manage a small team of sales and marketing professionals
Coordinate business development efforts with other senior management in the business units
Help author pieces of relevant thought leadership that is relevant to Alan Gray’s suite offerings including industry trends
Promote Alan Gray’s value proposition through speaking at industry conferences and events

Required
8+ years of experience in sales, business development, management consulting, or client relations, preferably in property & casualty insurance ecosystem
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
Strong understanding of commercial lines (re)insurance and broader property & casualty (re)insurance
Background in commercial lines claims would be extremely helpful for the position
Sales driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to think strategically and execute on those strategies operationally
Willingness and interest to travel
