Responsibilities
Drive account growth within a portfolio of existing health insurance clients by deeply understanding the client’s needs and Abacus’s product portfolio to creatively identify high-value and tailored solutions
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from discovery to close (including initial client communications, on-site presentations, RFI responses, multi-day client workshops, RFP submissions, negotiations, and deal signing), ensuring the seamless execution of growth initiatives and consistently meeting revenue targets
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (product, marketing, customer success, delivery, finance) to deliver compelling proposals and ensure high customer retention
Own a seven-figure quota across Abacus Insights most strategic payer customers

Required
5+ years of experience in sales, specifically account growth
5-7 years of experience working either for or directly with healthcare payers
An understanding of cloud-based products such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks and Snowflake
Preferred
Experience working both inside a payer and for technology companies that serve payers
Experience working as a consultant inside the healthcare vertical
5+ years of experience working with Government funded programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial ACA
