Responsibilities
Responsible for engaging with Canada business unit leadership to deliver large scale tools and technology solutions on behalf of functional business areas.
Delivery of tools to business areas involves planning, strategy development and tactical decision-making for the firm; work in partnership to execute objectives and activities with other directors; ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources; participate in resource allocation for best interests of the Canada business unit and Edward Jones enterprise (one firm); develop and implement a personnel structure that supports successful achievement of objectives in their specific area of responsibilities; Operate within a matrix environment, and build strong partnerships across centralized services (change, PMO, Global tech and Digital teams).
Navigate the firms ecosystem for getting large programs and projects completed - FPGG and stay current on how these systems and capabilities evolve over time.

Required
Minimum of 10 years experience directly related to Information Systems technology preferably in the financial services industry.
Experience should include B2B consulting, leadership of large scale transformation initiatives, supporting existing software or hardware environments, program and project leadership, designing technical and business solutions, large implementations to production environments, multi-national systems, process design, team building, mid and long- range planning, resource allocation/leveling and people administration (feedback, recruiting, hiring, termination, development plans).
Leadership, strategy and communication skills required.
Well-versed in establishing, monitoring and executing plans and metrics.
Global focus with knowledge in technology directions affecting business, ideally financial services, laws, cultural differences and managing global organizations a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work and experience.
Preferred
Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Engineering or Mathematics preferred or related education and work experience.
