Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the expedition segment’s wholesale accounts.
Identify and engage new wholesale clients within the expedition and adventure travel markets.
Foster strong relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
Collaborate with the VP, Sales -National & Strategic Accounts and other stakeholders to establish sales goals and revenue targets.
Serve as the key point of contact for major wholesale clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Conduct regular business reviews with wholesale partners to align on goals, share performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities.
Address and resolve any client issues to maintain partner satisfaction.
Manage contract negotiations and ensure alignment with financial objectives and company policies.
Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present sales forecasts to senior leadership.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the expedition segment.

Required

BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience.
10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in wholesale or expedition travel.
Experienced with Salesforce, Seaware, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue growth.
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication abilities.
Understanding of the expedition travel market, including trends and challenges.
Strong skills in time management, handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
The ability to work independently as well as with others in a team environment.
Must be able to travel 50-75%, and work remotely (home-based position).
Using the English language, this person must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend policies, legal guidelines, correspondence, and memos.
Must also possess the ability to effectively communicate--both in writing and orally--with a professional demeanor.
