Responsibilities

Lead a team to collaborate with Legal, Business, Product, and Engineering partners to design privacy solutions for FIS products.

Create a privacy-by-design culture within the organization.

Collaborate with Business teams to anticipate privacy needs and ensure ongoing compliance.

Own the strategy and implementation, ensuring compliance with all privacy requirements globally.

Act as the voice of Data Privacy for Integrated Services.

Required

Bachelor’s degree

A minimum of 10 years’ experience with demonstrated increase in work complexity over time and greater impact across areas

Prior experience managing a team of direct reports

Prior experience in a large, matrixed organization

Proven hands-on experience in the Data Privacy field with demonstrated knowledge of privacy requirements in major jurisdictions such as GDPR, CCPA, the EU Data Act as well as experience specifically in Connected Vehicle and/or Internet-of-Things (IoT) regulations

Preferred

Business acumen which is technically grounded – not necessarily an engineer but can understand, interact with, and parse the impact of engineering choices on solutions being devised

Ability to explain complex topics in such a way that the target audience can understand, retain, and use the information

Experience gained from working on complex data-related projects with an understanding of data architecture, data flows, and cloud services

Understanding of consent strategies and their implementations with experience specific to automotive and connected Internet-of-Things (IoT) industries a plus

Understanding of and demonstrated ability to implement privacy enhancing technologies in balance with and in service of business goals

Ability to manage multiple complex cross-functional projects crossing Business, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Internal Control teams simultaneously, each with critical deliverables and deadlines with a focus on delivering results

Ability to function and operate across highly skilled technical and business teams and develop solutions through collaboration

Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and be a member of multiple teams which will be cross-functional, multi-department, and with many perspectives to engage, influence and gain buy-in

Ability to build and manage a high-performing team with deft orchestration of HR, Recruiting, and Finance to ensure quality and fit are realized

Ability to learn and integrate quickly knowledge of additional, as-needed Global regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the various Integrated Services businesses as they arise
