Responsibilities
Leads, directs, coaches, and mentors cross-functional, multi-site teams throughout the product life cycle and initiatives.
Ensures alignment of product value proposition, project scope, and strategic business objectives.
Builds high morale and ensures team commitment to goals and objectives.
Creates and tracks budgets for the projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
Assures project deliverables meet quality, performance, cost, schedule, and revenue targets.
Identifies needed decisions and drives the decision-making process.
Schedules and leads meetings to coordinate interdepartmental project activities.
Manages and plans submissions to regulatory agencies.
Negotiates and manages business agreements with suppliers, OEM partners, or Co-development partners.
Manages project communications to all stakeholders.
Facilitates the exchange of information between departments and project team members.
Ensures projects comply with company quality management systems.
Requires 25% Travel.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or life sciences discipline (Master’s preferred)
Typically 15-20 years of program management experience in a related industry
A proven track record in leading program management efforts to define and launch innovative products to be utilized in the healthcare industry
Ability to work and influence in a matrixed organization is essential
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate rapidly and effectively within the organization and to represent the company in a professional manner
Experience leading a diverse team with various management hierarchies
Ability to create a product vision and champion that vision within the organization
Preferred
Experience working with Lean, Agile, Scrum and/or CCPM methodologies a plus
