Responsibilities

Spearhead the strategic planning and execution of the Natcast's research program portfolio, aligning initiatives with overarching business objectives and technological roadmaps.
Establish a comprehensive governance framework to oversee and coordinate cross-functional and cross-organizational research programs, ensuring seamless collaboration and resource alignment.
Provide visionary leadership in defining the scope, objectives, and expected outcomes of strategic research programs, fostering a culture of innovation and exploration.
Assume executive oversight of the research program portfolio, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards across all initiatives.
Implement robust risk management strategies, proactively identifying potential challenges and barriers, and guiding teams to develop contingency plans and pivoting strategies as needed.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement, regularly evaluating program performance and implementing process optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, research institutions, and industry leaders, fostering a collaborative ecosystem that drives innovation.
Serve as an influential communicator and advocate for the research program, effectively articulating its strategic importance, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and key decision-makers.
Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, providing strategic direction, resources, and support to ensure seamless execution and successful program delivery.
Establish comprehensive program governance policies, processes, and reporting structures to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective decision-making.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of executive-level program reports, providing insightful analysis, recommendations, and actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Represent the research program at industry events, conferences, and forums, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation and thought leadership.

Required

15+ years working experience in the semiconductor industry with direct experience in Lab to Fab technology transfer
Deep understanding of semiconductor research and manufacturing operations
Exceptional project / program management principles, methodologies, and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other applicable field
Ability / willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis as needed

Preferred

PhD in semiconductor related field
PMP certification
