Responsibilities

Direct & lead the retail operations for the Eastern Regional MGM properties (Detroit, National Harbor, Beau Rivage, Borgata, Springfield, Northfield Park) Washington Nationals & Cincinnati Reds Sportsbooks.

Translate strategic business goals into retail operational plans to achieve KPIs & growth targets

Analyze and optimize profit & loss statements as it relates to each sportsbook location, communicating successes and opportunities to Sportsbook teams.

Optimize promotional opportunities ensuring alignment with the broader BetMGM business

Establish clear roles and responsibilities for staff that are aligned to the businesses KPIs, coaching and developing the team regularly.

Provide oversight, coaching and development to sportsbook managers at each location through regular 1:1s, team calls and regular on-property visits

Build a strong retail management team by coaching employees and managers through effective hiring, training and scheduling practices to ensure the needs of the business are served.

Manage labor levels based on analysis of customer volumes and business plans

Manage HR issues as they arise, communicating clearly with HR partners and leadership.

Develop a cohesive partnership with the applicable on property leadership and partner teams

Partner closely with Regional Marketing, VIP, Partnerships and other BetMGM/MGM teams to operationalize events.

Ensure a high level of customer service that represents the BetMGM brand & employer values

Communicate to property executives and build relationships with key vendors / service providers

Uphold policies and procedures for all retail operations. Ensure consistency and effectiveness of policies and procedures. Participate in the building and revision of policies as needed.

Stay abreast of industry best practices and current/emerging competitors in the marketplace and make changes/recommendations as needed
