Responsibilities

Recruit and train teams from the Sr. PM level through engineering and Civil 3D design staff.
Direct responsibility for projects and leading a team in the development of plans and specifications for multi-family, residential, master planned, mixed-use, and commercial, and other types of projects that include paving, grading, drainage, water lines, sanitary sewers and other miscellaneous items.
Serve as primary point of contact for high value clients.
Provide leadership input on proposal scopes and fees and manage contracting process.
Manage and resolve complicated and complex conflicts both project and staff related.
Manage recruiting and hiring process for staff, coordinate with Managing Director for pay adjustments and promotions.
Balance workload with required staffing levels and manage communication with Directors in the region to minimize staffing gaps and maintain suitable utilization.
Engage with public agencies and industry organizations with an emphasis on leadership position(s)
Maintain attention to primary business metrics including Revenue, Multiplier, A/R, Utilization and Unbilled
Actively participate in business development efforts and coordinate with Managing Director to fill gaps in contract execution to maintain appropriate backlog.
Participate in development and implementation of department business plan and Austin specific goals.
Participate in monthly Operations Meetings with Managing Director and/or Ops Leader
Coordinate with other regional departments (public and private) with facilitation by Managing Director to encourage One Team approach, work share and regional growth.
Establish a culture of quality and either maintain primary responsibility for QA/QC on deliverables or develop staff to oversee programs.

Registered P.E.AutoCADExcelWord

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
Registered P.E. in Texas
15+ years of experience
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel and Word
