Responsibilities
Leading and managing valuation and financial modeling engagements for financial reporting, tax planning, strategic/transaction planning, and other purposes.
Managing and developing Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of engagement processes, models, and reports.
Identify critical valuation challenges and issues, and direct team members to research, propose, and execute solutions.
Stay abreast of current business and economic developments and the latest guidance/best practices related to business valuation.
Assume a key role in reviewing financial and valuation models and reports.
Develop and maintain an active network of professional contacts.
Work closely with Managing Directors to identify and develop highly credible and defensible perspectives on valuation.
Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients.
Work closely with Managing Directors on the development of various thought leadership articles, projects, and presentations.
Contribute to the firm’s overall marketing strategy.

Required
A bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, or finance from an accredited college/university is required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in business valuation at a reputable accounting or an independent valuation firm is a must.
A strong foundation of financial valuation requirements for fair value analyses under financial reporting requirements is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong business and financial statement analysis skills, solid understanding of the capital markets, and client and staff management skills are required.
Preferred
Advanced professional credentials (s), such as the ASA, CPA, ABV, and CFA, are preferred.
Option pricing modeling/Monte Carlo skillsets preferred.
