Responsibilities

Oversees expense allocation processes and strategy ensuring timely and accurate allocations in monthly actuals and quarterly/annual forecasts/plans.

Directs analysis of financial and non-financial data to identify trends and/or indicators, provide insights and make recommendations.

Builds and sustains an engaged, collaborative team through timely feedback, coaching and mentoring.

Models collaboration while building and expanding relationships with business partners, advancing our role as a strategic partner.

Manages relationships with examiners, auditors and other outside regulatory parties, as required.

Required

Strong knowledge of finance and/or accounting practices and procedures preferably common to the insurance industry.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including capability to create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, across a variety of situations and individuals, including in times of conflict and negotiation.

Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and influence others in a direct and matrix team environment.

Project management skills including the ability to establish plans and drive to execution in alignment with broader strategic direction.

Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
