Responsibilities

Understanding stakeholders’ key objectives, needs, and challenges

Extracting valuable and actionable insights from datasets; identifying emerging trends

Designing compelling stories within data that facilitate stakeholder decision-making

Proactively anticipating stakeholders’ needs

Continuously looking for ways to measure and demonstrate the business value

Ensuring the data integrity is intact and trusted

Assessing the current landscape of data practices and building a robust and comprehensive data strategy

Supporting customer insight leads in developing an overarching data strategy

Enabling a data-driven culture with ease of access and usage

Facilitating data-driven decision-making by ensuring data sources are aligned to business needs

Performing as Data Management Lead by managing individuals and teams focused on operations

Creating, standardizing, and maintaining thorough business rule documentation

Collaborating with senior business/IT leadership to understand future requirements and chart out data strategy

Synthesizing data and conducting analyses from multiple sources across key commercial functions

Identifying data gaps and changes needed to meet business objectives

Driving quality and stability of data for key business KPIs

Creating an actionable data quality framework and developing KDEs measures consistent across Franchises

Developing processes and SLAs with third-party data vendors

Championing and educating on the appropriate sources and use of data

Executing routine analytics, Ad-hoc reporting, and visualization

Supporting budget development regarding data sources and ensuring alignment with stakeholders on data project management

Required

Bachelor's degree

Proven leadership in the pharmaceutical and or/health tech industry; Knowledge of analytics approaches in pharma including descriptive and predictive analytics

Understanding of logistics & distribution processes and Specialty Pharmacy data

Commercial pharma data experience working with marketing, sales, SP/SD data, syndicated claims data

Experience in MDM, including customer, product master, affiliations, and hierarchy

Ability to find the story within the data and translate technical concepts into simple yet impactful insights & understandable recommendations

Expertise in design, build and manage Data quality framework for commercial data assets

Understanding of commercial data landscape and experience working with data suppliers

Excellent influencing and networking skills paired with stakeholder management experience in a multi-layered matrix organization and global environment

Knowledge of cloud-based, big data technologies

Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others to take action and drive; collaborative projects to a successful outcome

Strong project management skills and ability to multitask

Preferred

12+ years’ experience with extensive knowledge of technology-led business strategy transformation

MBA or MS preferred
