Responsibilities
Lead the company’s M&A, investment, and divestiture activities from initial evaluation through deal execution and supporting post-deal integration activities. Especially, lead and manage due diligence activities both internally and externally with acquisition targets, ensuring analysis, deadlines & deliverables are met.
Conduct industry research and competitive analyses in support of potential acquisitions and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
Provide business, operational and financial due diligence analyses of acquisition targets.
Coordinate with various internal stakeholders on specific functional-level due diligence workstreams to ensure successful closing and strong plans for post-deal integration efforts.
Coordinate and provide guidance to outside professional advisors’ due diligence activities in support of acquisitions, including investment bankers, lawyers, and consultants.
Provide executive level reports and presentations in support of acquisitions.

Required
Demonstrated M&A experience working in a public, or large private, company, managing multiple complex successful M&A transactions from start to finish.
In-depth understanding of acquisition, investment & divestiture process.
Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills are essential.
Deep experience and independent ability to prepare M&A financial models analyzing potential acquisition, investments, and divestitures.
Communicates effectively at all levels within the organization, aligning message and context with audience. Excellent Presentation skills with senior leaders internally and externally.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives, with a high degree of complexity.
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, a passion for solving business problems.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deal with ambiguity, make decisions and escalate issues as appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business with a focus on quantitative skills required.
Minimum of 4-8 years total experience relevant to this role, including in-house M&A, investment banking, or private equity/VC firm experience.
Preferred
Experience working in global, industrial technology businesses with a diverse portfolio of businesses desired, but not required.
Advanced degree strongly preferred in Business, engineering, or scientific related field but not required.
