Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations
Manage treasury functions including cash flow management and investment strategies
Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against budget
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management
Supervise accounting staff and provide leadership in day-to-day operations for non-profit accounting staff
Manage non-profit audits and related requests
Manage non-profit contracts with agencies (i.e. social service work)

Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong knowledge of fiscal management, corporate finance, and public accounting principles
Experience with treasury management and strategic planning
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff members
Good communicator and team player
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred
CPA
Experience with Social service agencies (Medi-Cal billing, Behavioral Wellness work, Family service counseling, case management, etc.)
