Responsibilities

Lead the monthly close process and prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow

Drive opportunities for process improvements and automation, optimize our accounting systems and tools, and lead the implementation of accounting best practices.

Ensure consistent implementation of accounting principles and procedures in compliance with US GAAP, staying up to date with FASB and SEC guidance, especially related to any digital asset policies

Develop, implement and enforce financial controls and policies.

Oversee payroll, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and accounts receivable

Own digital asset reporting and reconciliations

Provide support to the management team in making informed financial decisions

Work with our tax partners to prepare and file tax documents and returns

Manage and mentor our Accounting Manager.
