Director of Business Development - Federal Staffing (8(a) Focus)

Responsibilities
Leverage existing relationships with federal agency buyers and prime contractors to secure staffing contracts.
Develop a roadmap to achieve multi-million-dollar annual revenue growth in federal staffing contracts.
Lead GSA onboarding efforts and position the company for immediate opportunities.
Mentor and guide the internal team in federal contracting best practices and compliance requirements.
Build and nurture strong relationships with contracting officers, small business offices, and federal agency leaders.
Identify and pursue teaming and subcontracting opportunities with established contractors.
Oversee proposal development for RFPs, RFQs, and sources sought notices.
Represent the company at government contracting events, expos, and networking sessions.
Collaborate with the executive team to drive growth and scale the business.

Required
Experienced in federal contracting, preferably in the contingent labor.
Existing relationships with federal buyers and prime contractors.
Proven track record of winning 8(a) and federal contracts.
Strong knowledge of GSA schedules, SAM.gov, and federal procurement processes.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with compliance requirements for federal staffing contracts.
Preferred
Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent certification will be a plus
