Responsibilities
Lead efforts to generate new business and expand existing relationships in the Specialty Chemicals industry. Achieve revenue growth targets by selling warehousing, domestic transportation, and freight forwarding services.
Build and execute long-term strategic plans for targeting and growing both new and existing accounts within the Specialty Chemicals vertical.
Cultivate and maintain a robust sales pipeline, keeping accurate records in the CRM (Salesforce) and ensuring timely follow-up and closure of opportunities.
Develop strong, lasting relationships with senior-level stakeholders in customer organizations, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who can effectively address their unique challenges and opportunities.
Partner with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and leadership, to design and deliver seamless solutions that align with customer needs and drive value for both the company and clients.
Lead regular business review meetings with customers to assess performance, identify new opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Required
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or business development within the Specialty Chemicals industry or a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Logistics).
Deep knowledge and experience selling warehousing, domestic transportation, and freight forwarding services.
Ability to build trust and credibility with senior executives and decision-makers within target customers.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement win-win solutions.
Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams to navigate complex sales contracts and resolve customer issues.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and report on performance.
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to engage with customers and support business development efforts.
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to navigate the complexities of the Specialty Chemical sector, including regulatory, logistical, and operational challenges.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes and drive long-term partnerships.
